Age of Rage

The hectic travel in the last two weeks has had an unintended consequence of limiting my exposure to news. It is a blessing in disguise for sure. There was hardly any good news after all - Florida shooting, Brexit and now the attack in Istanbul.

Of course, it is not all the same. But, the underlying rage that's fuelling such events feels scarily connected, stemming from similar origins. It's like someone pushed a reset or rewind button and we went back a century.

It feels like humanity is an adolescent speeding on a motorcycle. On mountain roads. In rain.
